Good news for all whatsapp users. As per the latest official release of whatsapp i.e. 2.12.5, all the whatsapp user are able to use the new whatsapp voice calling facility. This new enhancement is available for all whatsapp supporting devices.

1. First and foremost, you all need to update your whatsapp to the latest above specified version for free whatsapp calling. If its available for your device then you can update from app store or from this "link" for this facility with flying colours else you need to wait for the update.
The supporting devices are :
- Apple Iphone
- Android
- BlackBerry
- Nokia S40
- Nokia Symbian
- Window Phone
As per my knowledge, update only available for Android Phones. Please update me about other OS in comment section.
2. After installing new update, you can see the below mention screen, that have the "CALLS" tab, along with the other two tabs.
3. Select the CALLS tab.
4. Then press the "call plus add" button marked on above picture on right hand top corner.
5. Then it will ask you to select the contact. you want to call. And enjoy.
Note : BOTH DEVICES MUST HAVE THE LATEST ANDROID VERSION I.E. 2.12.5.
Charges :
Whatsapp user can make free call to other users. It will consume about 0.15 to 0.20 KB of data per minute and approximately around 1 MB of data in 5 min call for 3G network. But on 2G it will go beyond 0.20 , it will consume about 0.30 MB per minute.
